yes i have to admit that was a pretty good article and long too. did you notice the part where he said that chris was engaged?? i didn't know that....well congrats chris!! talk to you guys soon!!

That was a really cool article. Thanks for posting it. I know someone else mentioned on a different thread that they had read Tolkien's books as a result of their love for NC, which I was reminded of when he talks about his fiance's new interest. When I was young I remember reading The Hobbit, and I really liked it. I don't know why, but I never read the other books. The desire to read the other books has been rekindled since becoming an NC fan, but I haven't been able to do that yet since I have so many other things to read (I'm getting my master's degree) plus I have a job and two small children. However, I think I'm going to go ahead and get the books and start working it in to my schedule. I love to read, so that's not the problem . . . it's more a time issue.

Another reason I really liked the article is because it shows Chris' intelligence--he's talking about literature and music and life, something I can't imagine other music stars doing. I also liked his comment about radio music--so true!

I just wanna say that Chris Thile article was very cool. I am a Tolkien fan myself thanks to my husband;so I truly understand where the future Mrs Thile is comming from.;)
