I post too much, anyway, I have this CD that the doctor gave my baby sister, Smart Symphonies. and on this CD is an instrumental written by Edgar Meyer, Short Trip Home, I am posting because I thought this was a very nice tune, and because it was the first thing I've heard that was written by Edgar Meyer.
[splat] so just letting you all know that I thought it was cool.

free nickel creek listen!!!!! (as i drive by in my car playin' it loud and proud)
and question matt...what's up w/the time on this thing? maybe i'm an idiot but it always shows like 6 hours ahead of my time...and i live in ga, eastern time zone...how does the time signature on this site work? just wondering b/c i get confused seeing when ppl posted (like 6 in the morning....and no..i don't just mean koko)

I wanna help! I wanna help! ok, go to user CP and go to edit options, and scroll down until you see time offset and since your in Georgia, I think your in central time, or eastern, I forget..time zone?! so put in either -6 or -5 whichever one you happen to be, and there go! yay! I helped I helped! and if it helps more, right now it is 1:57 AM est

lol- i am know for random comments.. never really thought of them as being odd... just random... glad to hear it is helpfull
but, about the stuff i say, and suggestions i make- in general it is about topics i have known pretty well for a while, and am passionate about [tolkien, fiddling, etc..]-sometimes good listening sugestions that musicaly relate... or random stuff that puts a new angle or new connection on a familiar idea or topic- which in my mind, is where the randomness makes complete sense... i do occasially research to look up some stuff- but it is usually to find an example liek an audio clip- so you can hear how cool a song is....
the exception to this is in the discography section where we are working on lists of all recordings the guys have put a few tracks on- and stuff generally like that- or ask any of the people [like sarah] that help out on the site- i don't like to do too much research, nor am i that good at it... so they help out by brigning all the stuff in.. then i just have to process it....
by the way- in my april recital last year- the combo and i did an arrangement of short trip home for the closer
matt
kokomo nailed the time thing- it is a universal time for the whole world.. [defiantly not u.s. time]

thx joce and matt. i think the newest section on this site involving help related stuff should be..idiots ask joce for ppl like me and newbies who can't do anything....well it was just an idea...
oh..and i was mistaken..i do see chip post a good amount too...
and another question...i know y'all are really working on this place but was wondering just about the news section. yeah there are a lot other ways of finding info about NC outside of this site but some ppl are just too lazy (like me) and plus..wouldn't you rather have this be like the all in one NC place.. get your message board posts..your interviews...and your news (well more recent that is..hehe). anyhow..i know y'all are working ..and w/o being paid to do it too..(unless there is something else i don't know..) so thx. site team and joce who is always helpful...and random...(but i enjoy the randomness....makes everything else seem so predictable..)

yes- i know the news is behind... my motherboard has been prograssivly gogin out on my computer the last 8 months- and just kinda isolated the problem a month ago [i am that busy with stuff] so that has made site updates nearly impossible...
but TAA DAAAAAAAAAAAA my new computer shoudl be in any day now......... and then i can get those old news stuff out- and the site back up and runnign again...... and now that i am back at school i have a bit of tiem to put twards it again......
there is a news section at the top of this message board- called current news.. where i will post stuff that isn't on the .com site- or specially related to us....... [as that gets more traffic than the main page-
so sorry about the site standing still for about 4 months....

you can call me whatever you like...hoping that it isn't something horrible....goose, chris, goris...chroose...i thought about making another sn of creekgeek b/c i really like that...but then again...does the sn matter that much when i put my own name at the bottom of all my posts?
and as far as catching you goes...i could just go back to all the old posts from like three months ago and talk about stuff their...
ppl get on the boards and see a thread started in june and think..dang....must be a good topic to be going for several months. and in what other way would i catch you besides posting? worried that i'm gonna come hunt you down..tackle you just to say...TAG! I CAUGHT YOU! ....while the thought would be funny...but then no...
