Guys! I just went on Nickel Creek's page and noticed a new date added (for any if you Nashvillian's like me). Chris will be playing with Brian Sutton on Woodsong's Old Time Radio Hour at the historic Belcourt theatre on March 9th (ahhh next Saturday). I'm so excited! I had no idea! I'm definatly going if its not sold out!! The tickets are $18.50 in advance. Before Chris plays...Ralph Stanley will play!!! SO EXCITED!!! :)

AS it turns out...IT IS SOLD OUT!!!! GRRRRR AND I have the flu so there will be no seeing Thile/Sutton for me tonight. :-( Very sad...very very sad. Does The OLd Time Radio Hour come on NPR? B/C I could tape if it does?

The radio taping will be broadcast over the radio in a few weeks, and they also recorded it for webcase in the near future. Check back at the Woodsongs website for details (also, the site will give you radio stations in the area that broadcast the show). It was, of course, out of this world. Don't miss the 25-minute encore (on the webcast only, I believe).

Someone must correct me if this is not legal. But if you run the webcast and put on a creative labs record program and switch it to WAV, you can record the audio to your hard drive while listening. That way you can listen to the terrific encore by Chris and Bryan later without going through the whole concert again.

I wish they'd burn these concerts to DVD. I'd pay $20 in a minute.

...And you found this on nickelcreek.com? I looked on the Schedule, and all that I see is the Largo on the 31 and Merlefest...
