Just thought this might be of interest to some diehard fans that might be clamoring for a piece of Nickel Creek...or maybe just for those who are bored and need something to look at. :)
Now girls, don't go e-mailing Mr. Thile trying to get Chris's cell phone # ;)

Nickel Creek Gold Record:

And a signed Drum cymbal:
(which I found odd, considering they don't even use drums)

Isn't it also kinda odd that they said it is pretty hard to get an autograph from them when it seems fairly easy to me when you compare how difficult it can be to get other people's autographs.
Even more odd are the pictures they have as proof of them signing it. In the pictures of Chris and Sara they are signing a poster, not a drumhead, and in the picture of Sean you can't really tell what he is signing. Anyhow, the signatures actually look real though.[think]

Pardon me, a drumhead, not a cymbal [splat]
And yeah, quite odd considering he claims that is the actual 'proof' that the signatures are real. And I even question the authenticity from what I can see....

The gold record desription sez: The name on the plate will remain unknown except to winner.
What in the world does that mean? Is it inscribed to Michael Jackson or something?

the gold album used to belong to someone who worked for sugarhill or something like that (that's how they got it) and their name is on a plate on the gold album.

I see. I'd remain anonymous too if I was selling a gold record from Nickel Creek!
I don't think I'd want one with someone else's name on it, though.

maybe i am just an idiot or don't know what it is going but...why would nc have a signed drum head??? i mean i understand records, posters, etc...but a drum head? i don't even recall where they have ever used drums even...much less...is a signed drum head a sign of arrival..(now that you, nickel creek, you have reached the professional lvl of selling ******** records...it is time you move up in the signature souvenir section...drum heads...) someno plz exlpain if they have a freakin' clue...

Wellllll...
People bring strange things to get signed. I have a friend who wore a jacked to every concert and had the artists sign the jacket.
Maybe they signed the drumhead of some band they did a double bill with??
It doesn't seem completely implausible to me, but who knows?

maybe the person who's selling it is just really in to drums and that's all he had for them to sign.
