Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum and just thought I would introduce myself. I went a few days ago and bought both of their CD's. Heh, I've listened to them non-stop since I got em and spreadin the word about the group. [noise] They're a great band and hope to get into some discussion here and earn more about them. welcome to the board and i just thought that i would let you know that if you check their schedule for touring...they will be in north carolina in a couple weeks..and i seriously SERIOUSLY recommend...that you see them live. ask anyone here who has...it is 300x better than the cd. you won't be sorry. but welcome again.

Thanks for the warm welcome Goose. 1) Yes I get it! ^_^ Every time I see NC here I think that they are talking about North Carolina, but then I remember, hey wait...Nickel Creek site, well duh ;-) Heh. 2) I am soooooo going to try to go to the concert in Carey, when I looked I got so excited. I think I'll drag some of my friends along to go watch it too. 3) I love that song ^_^

The last time I saw OUR NC was in March (3 times!!) and they had just gotten their new merchendise. They had Derek wearing their NC logo beanie (Sara noted that we call them tobogans down here and she couldn't understand because tobogans are sleds lmao) and that if you weren't into shameless plugging through apparel you could just pretend it was a North Carolina beanie. :) Unfortunately I have a big round head and didn't think the fabric would stretch that much. Alas. :rolleyes:

Ooh Christy!! I SO was!! It SO rocked, I had good seats. I was also at the one in Winston-Salem and the one in Charlotte. The Charlotte venue was HORRID. I was ashamed for my city. They are coming back in two weeks and are performing downtown at Blumenthal, where all the musicals and ballet things are held. SO much better. That's so cool that you were there!! I was having a horrible time with my allergies so I didn't stay after the show, I was so doped up I was afraid I was gonna go to sleep on the way home.:(
