Hi, ya'll,
I have a question for ya! A person im'd me saying they were chris thile. And I was talking to him, and he didn't seem to know as much as he should have about himself if he was chris. Like I was asking him if he ever played any classical music, and he said yes, and then when I asked him what he played, and he said a Boulez symphony, and Boulez didn't even write a symphony. It doesn't seem like Chris to screw something up like that. Do you think that I should be weary?
Thanks

I'd be very very wary. I'm pretty sure that he doesn't have the time to randomly chat with people online.....

Aren't they somewhere between Phoenix, AZ and Fort Worth, TX? Somehow I doubt on the tour they stopped to get net access and to spend the time on AIM. I suppose stranger things have happened LOL, but ummm I would be pretty skeptical.

i would highly doubt it-
it is very possible for them to be on even on tour- but chris is known for not being as email/ aim inclined as sara or sean is- [who regurally answer fan emails, etc.. the only real way to get in touch with him is to talk with him- so based on that- i would say it probably wasn't him-

the person who said they were Chris probably got the Boulez thing from Chris' journal (Scatterbrained) on the official website. One of the cds Chris has been listening to is Mahler's Symphony #7 played by the Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Boulez.
