New England Concerts emailed to me...

I just got an email from John Mayer's mailing list...and he is touring with Nickelcreek! They are coming to Portland, ME on November 22 and Amherst, MA on November 23! I saw them just last year in Portsmouth, NH and out of all the concerts I've been to...it has to be my favorite....here's my question though: I can't find the tickets anywhere online. The email says that fan club tickets go on sale 10/9 and public tickets go on sale 10/12...if not ticketmaster or cc.com, does anyone know where to get the tickets (the venues don't even have them listed yet).

he has fan club tics arranged several months somethimes before the real ones go on sale- kinda liek dave matthew's warehouseclub- just watch ticket master- or call the venus and ask them if they are selling tics, or who is, and when they go on sale to the general public..

I've been waiting until I could finally see John Mayer in concert (I've downloaded enough amazing live cuts of his that I feel like I have already seen him live). I've already seen Nickel creek and absolutely loved them. They only way this concert could get any better would be to have Norah Jones and Howie Day added to the list. I'm in heaven just thinking about it... [run]

~this should probably be in the OFF TOPIC area, but - i am a new norah jones fan (i absolutely adore her!) do you know if she has any other cd's out, or how to get any info on her?

i just saw norah jones in concert about a month ago (great show, though not as exciting as nickel creek). She has a first sessions disc, but i havent been able to find it anywhere. You can download all of those songs off her website though (www.norahjones.com). I dont think she's done any recording for a follow up to come away with me....I really suggest that cd to anyone who wants to hear some good music (of course, it's kind of been pushed out of my cd player for now because of this side :-)

yeah it should probably be off topic but since we're talking about her, norah's cd is just wonderful! i got to see her in august and her band is really cool, they do a lot of good improv, so sort of like nickel creek but a lot more mellow. i think she's on tour in europe right now so maybe a new cd is still awhile away

If you have the capability to download songs...go to limewire.com or kazaa...you will find tons of recordings from her concerts which in my opinion are almost better than the cds. I made a mixed cd of her cds and the live recordings...it's permanently in my car cd player. definitely check those songs out too.[noise]
