my time thingy is messed up, I have under EST but it's giving be 5 hours earlier than my time, it's 6:03 PM right now, but the thing says 1:03 PM, whassamatta?
The time sync on the server was off, set to something very strange. Now, it's set to Eastern time. If you're seeing something different, I think there's a user-configurable thing in preferences that allows you to set the offset that's appropriate to you... but it's a little funky, it may not work if you just set it to Eastern time, you may have to monkey around and try different settings to get it to match the timezone you're in.
Hope that helps.

thanks, Chip.
I did just that, since my time was 5 hours ahead of the sites time, I deducted 10 hours and now I'm on GMT western europe time, not the place I'm in, but the time is right,
Uh, yeah... actually the VBulletin software thinks it's in American Samoa or some such... even though the server from which VBulletin is getting its time is in east coast time, the software wants for everything to be in Greenwich Mean Time. Very confusing, but at least it's accurate to the minute... the server is locked to a US Weather Service time server or something that's pretty accurate...
