I didn't get to go to the show (seeing I live in Oregon) but they have been know to do Bach's Partita No3 right before The Fox. If it is a classical sounding instrumental, then it probablely is Partita #3.

I don't know if this helps, but Sean starts playing a beat on his guitar at around 1 minute, and 10 seconds........they then slow down the speed at around1 minute and 40 seconds

Umm, yeah...I got his address and even sent the CD's right after Thanksgiving and still haven't gotten them back! Now I'm really nervous because he has my address and he isn't sounding like the most trustworthy of people! I sent the package to a guy named Leo Freitas in Greensboro, NC...no Matt involved in the trade...Anyways, I sent him an email saying that I hadn't gotten my package and that I wasn't the only unhappy one...hopefully he'll get the message. He answered all my emails promptly and everything, so this is kinda unexpected based on previous corespondence. I emailed Leo and he says that things got a little crazy with finals and that he'll be sending my CD's Thursday (Dec. 19). We'll see...you know what's weird to me? When this thread started, it was DMBmoron or whatever his name is, then SUDDENLY switches to mstsomenumber. This guy says that he's editing the show as if he were telling us about it the whole time. This whole things a little shady to me...I just hope I get my CD's safely and that this Leo guy isn't a psycho who has my address...make me nervous...people aren't always as cool as I wish they were:mad:

I did tape DMB once......... Most DMB tapers are good. I do have a full time job(60+ hours a week sometimes) So burning a show DOES slip my mind. BUT, show WILL be in the mail tomorrow

Sorry Leo and Mark...I'm not trying to be a super bi-otch...I swear!! I was kinda questioning why I hadn't gotten my CDs and then I found that I wasn't the only one, yada yada...again, sorry. I understand, burning CD's for people isn't my #1 priority either! Its just that I kinda wish you woyld have told any and all of us who were actually getting the CD's that it may take a while to get them so that we wouldn't feel like we were being majorly jipped. Anyways, I hope we can reconcile:) (I love that word!) and I look forward to getting my CD's as soon as you guys are able! Thanks for the time and again, sorry for any bad feelings.

Glad we got things cleared up. Not sure why, but after about 5 or six emails to your hotmail account, I began to question the trade. None of the emails bounced, so I just assumed they were received. No matter now, I guess.

Listen, I work too. Probably more hours than most (I'm a 2nd year associate at a mid-sized law firm), and I have two kids, with another on the way. I can completely understand getting behind on a trade, I've been there. But, communication is key. If you've got too much going on, just let the person on the other end know. No big deal. Not talking specifically to anyone here, just a good rule of thumb.

I was just wondering if anyone who sent blank CDs to Leo and Mark actually got them back?

I sent Leo Freitas 2 blank CDs, a postage paid return envelope and a CD full of digital pictures from the Morgantown West Virginia show on November 20th of 2002 after he told me that he'd love to do a B&P trade for me.

I waited and waited and finally contacted him on 12/02/2002 to see if he had sent them out. He replied that day and said:

yea i just got them out today, hope you enjoy it, thanks again for the pictures they were great

I waited again allowing lots of extra time for it to get here because of the holidays. I hadn't received them by 12/30/02, so I emailed him again.....no answer. I emailed again on 01/09/02.....again, no answer. I emailed a third time on 1/23/03 and he replied with the following:

alright heres the deal, the way i usually do b+ps is get everyones who asked for one and send them all at the same time, well theres one ive been waiting that hasnt, gotten here yet, so i know i do it a weird way, but i get it done, I have burned ur discs, they are ready to go, but i dont know if u happen to check the nc weatherforcast cause we're snowed in, but if the roads are clear tommorow and i dont have school I promise u ill send it out tommorow, and forget about the last guy. i know youve been waiting a really long time, and i know i have lied to you only to buy more time which i apologize, but im really trying to do the best i can for everyone, the guy hasnt replyed so im gonna go ahead and send everyones tommorow

More waiting. I emailed him on 02/05/2003 and 02/10/2003 to see if he had sent the CDs. He replied on 02/10/2003 with the following:

theyll be out this week 100% sure, i know im not trustworthy but ill scan a receipt or something to prove it

Still more waiting. I still haven't received my CDs. I emailed him again on 02/21/2003, 02/28/2003, 03/04/2003, 03/05/2003 and 03/06/2003. He is completely ignoring my emails now and I'm beyond angry.

I finally received the show after publicly calling the offenders out on this list (see above for lurid details). It is rather appalling to see what these guys have done with regard to this show that they clearly offered for b&p. Not to mention the blatant lies that Leo told you (ie. telling you that they had been sent in December, etc).

Its a joke, but guess what? And I hate to burst yours and everyone else waiting on this show's bubble, but it sucks ... the sound quality is weak, weak, and weak. Yeah, I'll say it, I tape shows myself, so I know what I'm doing and what I'm talking about.

With that caveat in mind, I will offer to burn this show in either shn or wav/audio format for any and all that have been burned by these guys. If you qualify, please respond to this thread by posting an email where I can reach you to give you the details, or else send me a PM via this forum.

Ask others here, I've turned around every b&p that I've promised, fast within a day or so of receiving it. Do I do this for a living? No. I'm a civil litigation defense attorney, married with two kids (and one on the way). I'm just honest is all.
