Nickel Creek in the Bay Area

Well, I was reading the San Jose Mercury newspaper earlier today, and found out that Nickel Creek is finally coming back up here for a show at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, CA , except this time they will be playing the Garden Theatre (it was the carriage theatre last november) , which holds just over a thousand people... The show is on Sunday, September 15, and tickets range from $28-$28 , and Lunasa and Karen Kasey are opening. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 12, unless you are a friend of villa montalvo (you can buy tickets now) and if anyone is, i'd love to convince you to buy my tickets for me :)

I'm hoping they come up here sometime before then, hopefully in the summer... I guess I'm spoiled because they came quite a few times last year....

I was wondering myself when they were going to make it back over here. Lucky me, I live about 10 minutes away from Villa Montalvo! Yippee! I hope I can get tickets. Thanks for the info!

Hey to everyone in the Bay Area, I just purchased my tickets to see Nickel Creek in September at Villa Montalvo... They went on sale to the public at 10am today , Friday, but were on sale for people connected to the Villa Montalvo for a few weeks already. Anywho, I got 12th Row Orchestra seats for $38 each (w/out ticketmaster charge), so if you haven't purchased them and plan to, seats around that area should be available... I believe tickets are in the 28/32/38/48 range, although the $48 are sold out. Just a heads up! hopefully they will come to the bay area again before September, that's a long wait!!!
