I know it has already been mentioned somewhere on the boards before but I just thought I'd say something about it in this section.

I think this article is one of the best I have read about them. Learning more about how they went about recording This Side has really made me appreciate it more. I went back and listened to the songs they talked about and had a new perspective on them than I did before. For instance, now I listen to Chris' harmonies on Should've Known Better and the guitar parts on Young with a new appreciation. By the way, the pictures of them were great too.

I've got a question regarding that magazine, I haven't been able to find that magazine in stores - it's still out for press right? All I've seen was Acoustic guitar with James Taylor on the cover...is this the same mag. or are they just with similar titles?

go to the Nickel Creek website. They have a link to it there. The Nickel Creek issue is the current one that came out yesterday.

Yeah, it's the December issue. I got mine at a Barnes and Noble. Keep looking; some stores may just not have the new issue out yet.

well all I can say is OH THANK GOD! It's good to know I haven't missed it...I made a special section of money, that I put aside, just so I could have it. I'm such a dork! :)
