how do I get an icon (or avatar) in my posts or profile?

I'm having alot of problems trying to figure out where to upload my icon to use by my name on posts, or in my profile. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

If you have found the picture you want to use follow the directions I am gunna tell you. This should work. This is the way I do it. The picture has to be a small one or it wont work.
Right click on the picture choose the option copy
Then go to fileMy Documents its on your start up screen
Paste the picture you have selected into My Documents
Now you have to go back onto the Nickel Creek Board.
Go to the f.a.q tab on the top of the Nickel Creek Board Screen
click the option 4th from the top it should say How can I change the information in my profile?
You will now be looking at a different screen no choose the option of editing your profile
Now click the Edit Options tab on the screen
On the bottom it should say change avatar at the bottom of the screen click that.
Now click the Browse option it will open up into a new screen
Now click the My documents option in this new screenve
Find the name of your picture and double click on it.
Now you have a pic under your screen name
