I went to the Summit Mississippi Show last night and I thought I'd post the set list and such. If anyone else was there, feel free to make corrections because even though I've heard the songs a million times, sometimes I get the intrumentals mixed up. Here goes:
1. An instrumental I've never heard before
2. Reasons Why
3. Lighthouse Tale
4. Ferdinand the Bull
5. This Side? (Sean said this one's off the new album-I was a little fuzzy on the title but it was great!!!-he said the new CD should be out sometime in Sept. but you know how that goes)
6. Locking Doors (if y'all have read any of the journals you'll remember them playing a game in which they would come up with a title one night and then all have to write a song with that title, this song comes from that game, it's about Jack Nicholson's character in As Good As it Gets)
7. Celtic Sounding Song I Didn't recognize
8. Seven Wonders-on new album
9. The House of Tom Bombadil
10. Think About your Troubles-Harry Nillson
11. Green and Gray( I LOVE this song)
12. You don't have to move that Mountain
13. Something off Not All Who Wonder are Lost
14. Chicago-another bus game song, Sean wrote this one and it'll be on his next album
15. a spiritual song-something like Knockin at the Door
16. Let it Fall
17. When you Come Back Down
18. Ode to a Butterfly
Encore: The Fox, Subteranean Homesick Blues(Chris added more verses than I've heard before on this one), another spritual song medley-This was so tight-it lasted about 11 minutes

Anyway, I hope this is off interest to y'all-there may be mistakes in it so don't take it as gospel-This was my second time to see them live and I've got to say-if you haven't seen them live, you MUST-they rock[noise]

I think you got it right wade. The show was outstanding to say the least. I drove my family in from Baton Rouge and we had a great time. I was surprised that several people sitting around me didn't even know who they were seeing. After the 3rd or 4th song an old guy behind me said I thought this was a bluegrass band. It was a great venue for this concert. Since I travel a bit I'm going to watch the schedule and get to a few more shows. If they ever play at The Ark in Ann Arbor, I'm there. I have seen Marcia Ball and Jerry Jeff Walker at The Ark and it is a great venue. Can't get enough Nickel Creek and enjoyed watching the #2 video when I got home. That was pretty neat.

#13 was Big Sam Thompson, with a few extras. Wonderful sound -- better than the album version.

Nickel Creek was incredible. This was my second time to see them, and the second time to be blown away. The talent of this group is moving.....they are utterly amazing. I cannot accurately put into words how unbelievable they are. They can all sing. They can all play. They are wonderful performers. They feed off each other during the performance and improvise better than any group that I've yet heard.

Nickel Creek is by far and away the best band that these eyes have seen. I can't imagine another band who will topple them off the mountain that I've built for them (and they earned it)!

Write this down.....their next album will be better than the first (altho less bluegrassy, if that's a word) and will win a Grammy. You heard it here first.
