Hey Goose,

I know you specifically asked Sam, but maybe I can help... I *think* SHB would be Subterranian Homesick Blues, and SMB would be Super Mario Bros. Does this sound right? I know they played both during the Fox Thursday night... And, if this helps at all, St. Ann's Reel is the one that Sara really jams on at the beginning while Sean uses his guitar as percussion, and he has a great guitar solo that's slower than the rest of the song in the middle. And now I've probably confused you more... sorry! :)

Chris,

SHB is Subterreanean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan, and SMB is Super Mario Brothers. I looked around and didn't see anyone taping the show but you never know. St. Anne's Reel starts off usually two different ways. Both start off with Sara doing an awesome fiddle job and then chris comes in and then sean bangs away on his guitar for a drum effect. Then after a little jamming Sean plays a slower guitar intro to the actual St. Anne's Reel. That's the best I know how to describe it. Hope this clarifies.

Dude, that's weird. I guess we must have had a psychic connection or something. Weird, that's all I can say.

On this show you have that they closed the show with Taxman and opened the encore with Taxman? Am I reading it right? Also I was wondering about your equipment and would like to know what you suggest. I have looked at the new sony minidisc recorder and would like some feedback from a taper. Thanks Mel

Oh and I have already stopped by GNC to get my pills (Inside Joke)

Mel,
I don't really recall, it's been a long time since that show. I think they closed the first set with taxman though. I don't record the shows, I just write the setlists down.

Hello,
I'm new to this and not quite sure how it all works. However, I am very interested in your concert because of the fact that is has Empire Falls. If you could explain to me how this works and poosibly how I might get a copy of your concert, I would appreciate it very much. My email address is ChrisBan_1129@hotmail.com. Just write Nickel Creek as the subject of the email. That way I won't think it's spam.
Thank you again.
