Poll Problems

Hey, I posted a poll (under 'best show you've ever been to') and now it won't let me vote on it. It says this action could not be completed because your session appears to be invalid. but i've tried it like, five times and it says the same thing over and over. whats going on?

what web browser are you using.. were you logged in.. and are you using html coding or cookies to browse the forum??

Yes, I was logged in. I have tried voting about 4 different times (I logged out and logged back in) and still got the same message. I am using the (damned) AOL browser (I'm starting to get the idea that AOL really sucks...) and I'm not sure what html coding or cookies are.

try this... when you sign in aol.. open up IE and use that for your browser...

Melanie, you're not the only one -- I also use AOL and have to use a separate browser to access the chat or to vote. Yes, AOL sucks, but I don't pay the bill, so I don't complain too much.

But you're right, AOL does bite. But so does dial-up. My friend has DSL....sweet....

well yes and no. the bible says 'damned' alot. if you use it in terms of the bible, then no. if, however, you use it against someone or something, say, out of anger, then yes it is considered a cuss word. Believe me. My Grandpa and both of my uncles are pastors and my dad's a music minister.:D Religious background.

Okay...well, it was a simple slip of the tongue...i was typing what i was thinking and not paying much attention...but I shouldn't have wrote that because I tend to forget that some people get offended with profanity...i'm just so used to hearing *really* bad words so much that I don't even hardly think about it when i say a lil word like damned

But anyway, thanks for being polite about bringing that to my attention...i will watch my mouth (or fingers, since i'm typing) from now on!;)

By the way, I think that your signature is really funny!! the Simpsons rule!!:D

haha...reminds me of one of the Griswald family vacations movies, I think it was Vegas Vacation, where they go to the hoover dam, and Chevy Chase loses the tour and gets mad and says Where's the d-mn dam tour guide? It was funny stuffs. I better watch it though. I shalln't break a commandment! :D But seriously, I better not say no more.
