I was watching that Bluegrass Sound today(the one hosted by Vince Gill), and when they showed Nickel Creek perform, Sean had the 1st fret capoed on his guitar.
I don't recall that in the video, but I may not have paid enough attention?
Can anyone confirm this? It's driving me crazy...hehe.
Thanks

yep. He always plays it cappoed 1st fret otherwise he would have to barre chord everything and he has stated before that he would rather not.

all the tabs i've seen for it have it capo'd. from personal experience, it is MUCH easier to play it that way

*says the biggest bar chord weenie of them all*

it was 75 yesterday, though we're sposed to have a 'cooling trend', meaning today it'll only be about 70, and then by mid next week, we'll freeze our tailbones off at only 56!!!!

in the 7 1/2 years i've lived here, i've only SEEN it snow once, for about 5 min, and that was about 5 years ago! it sometimes, though VERY rarely, snows in the suburbs, like Scottsdale! last march, when i was up in Prescott, it started snowing, and i couldnt' for the life of me figure out what was wrong with the air! ;)

It's been about 20-40 degrees since December started. It's also snowed 6 times since December started, and 3 snow days have come up for the schools. Each snowfall lasts about 7-8 hours. It's almost all melted, though. [guilty]

But it really heats up in the summertime. It get's up to about 80-90 degrees each day. But from what I've seen on the Weather Channel, Pheonix is far hotter!

I still can't believe that it's 75 degrees! I'm used to that kind of temerature in April-June! [bigeyes]
