So tonight's the big night! Toad the Wet Sprocket's reunion show, their first show in nearly 5 years, and who else to open? Nickel Creek! I desperately wanted to go on a road trip but too much business at home, but did anyone go?? And if you did, can you let us all in on how it went?

You mean that you were within striking distance, and you didn't go??? That had better be some pretty important business. ;)

All I Want
Little Heaven

See You Again (with a member of Lapdog... Johnny something?)

Whatever I Fear (with NC)
Listen

Hold Me Down
Fall Down
ENCORE:
Walk on the Ocean (with NC)
Crazy Life (with NC)
I Will Not Take These Things for Granted
---------
sounds like it was an unbelievable show! there were a ton of tapers for that night so i'm sure a high quality (if not many) will show up soon. also someone took photos of the show which you can find here

from what i heard, nc was so psyched and pumped to be there that they turned in just a fabulous set... i really wish i could have been there myself!

AHH!! THEY PERFORMED ALL MY FAVS!!
*smacks forehead against a wall*
I KNEW I should have just sucked it up and gone flat broke and gone to it.....
But, if anyone out there has bootlegs of the show, I'm willing to
B&P and even pay a little extra for time.
Well, I was there and it was AWESOME!!! I've never seen NC or Glen as happy as they were that night. When Glen came out during NC's set to do Let It Fall, he was all smiles and stayed that way the entire show.
I've seen Nickel Creek in concert many times (3 times this week), and I've never seen them better than they were Wednesday night.
And to see them on stage with Toad was incredible.

NC doesn't come through the midwest very often, so I like to take advantage of it when they do. I had only planned on seeing them twice, but then the concert with Toad in Santa Barbara was announced and I had to go. Seeing NC there was just an added bonus. :D

Wher are you from Toad that you got to see NC three times in one week in the midwest? I am from OK and the closest they came to me was Columbia. Even that was a seven hour drive. Wherever you live, I am movin' there.
Monday -- Chicago
Wednesday -- Santa Barbara, CA with Toad
Saturday -- Milwaukee
And I could've gone to Madison on Tuesday, but had to fly out to CA instead. That's the joy of living in Chicago. It's not only a stopping point for lots of bands, it's also close to other great towns with awesome music.
