How long has Nickel Creek been around?

purple century bold Well hello everyone! I just joined this little fan websire deal and I was wondering..... how long has Nickel Creek been around. I have been listening to their music for about 1 year and the first time I heard it I fell in love with their music almost immediately! My favorite songs on their first cd are The Hand Song and When You come back Down. Well anyways I would really appreciate it if ya'll could let me know. ttyl

I'm not sure if it's perfectly accurate, but I have a little newspaper article (from last year, I think) about NC that says:

The group Nickel Creek was formed more than 10 years ago when the members were children.

And seeing as how I am font-challenged I can't offer any advice on fonts, sorry. :confused:

They've been together for, I think, 13 years. Sara and Chris were 8, Sean was 12 or something.
