Any Sign of Sean's New CD?

I just got an update on new releases from Sugar Hill records that included cds to be released in January and February and there was no mention of the new cd from Sean. I know it takes a while for the cds to be released after they have been finished, but I have read sometime before that he expected it to be out late this fall.

Does anyone know if it may still be released sometime early next year and they just haven't set a date for it yet or something? :confused:

Yeah, I heard both Sean and Chris' new CDs should be coming out in spring too.

Its not out yet and I don't know where I heard they had CDs coming out in spring, I either heard it somewhere else on the forum or read it in a magazine or something. But I couldn't find any more info on it like a title or songs. He is gonna have a duet CD out soon with Mike Marshall though and their going on tour soon.

Starting December 22nd in Colorado, they start the tour. Both Chris and Mike have informally announced that they'll have the cds with them on tour to sell.

I think we're talking about Sean's new cd here, not Chris'. Sean's cd has been finished for some time, just awaiting a release date.

Sean is not touring with Chris and Mike.

I know this is Sean's board, but does anyone know if Chris and Mike will be coming to the UK? Or if there's any chance that Sean might tour for his new album? I love seeing them both with NC but solo would be good too!

One person talked to Sean at the Peterson concert and Sean said the release date had been pushed back to April. Very Sad news. I am looking forward to this CD. I hear it has a lot more vocals than the last. But, the last is amazing in and of itself! Maybe if we all go to the Sugar Hill and beg them to move it back up they will. It's a long shot, but I want it so bad! And if it is finished why keep the wolves waiting?

Yes, that was me that asked Sean about his new record in Nashville. He said that it has been done for a long time, but it won't be out until April. He didn't say why, but record companies always have reasons...my PERSONAL guess (not Sean's words!) is that they knew it might sell more copies if they waited until after Nickelcreek's fall tour, and possibly the spring tour (I'm assuming they will do some shows this spring). But that's just my guess. My husband is a producer/engineer and this kind of thing happens all the time. Lots of it depends on money as well- how much the label has to promote at certain times. Plus, other artists' records that are coming out that they have to promote, etc. Anyway, I'm sure there is some A&R person who made this decision to drive us all crazy!

From Sean's new song at the Nashville show, this will be a great record! It sounded very personal and introspective to me.

one hand for the writer/performer you gotta think..man..that sucks i have to wait awhile before people can hear my stuff and then again if you make your living off it...its smart so you spread the money out and don't over exposure yourself (like at a tanning bed..not that i know..hehe) all at once and possibly ruin some extra capital like publicity. but..i'm more with the...c'mon already release it! crowd.

Sean's new journal entry has some tidbits about his new solo CD..including release time...if I remember correctly. It also gives info an the content. Example: 10 vocal tracks. Check it out!

yeah he said it will be released in april there are 13 tracks 10 vocal 3 instrumental.

Ah! I cannot wait 'til his new CD comes out! I got his Let It Fall CD a few days before Christmas and I LOVE it! I just wish he was singin' Let It Fall...*sigh*:rolleyes: [noise]
