I saw NC in Boone last night and they were awesome!! They played their hearts out and won over alot of new fans! They are the most talented young people that I have every seen! I cant wait until they come back for Merle Fest!

I was there too! They were so awesome and I was able to meet them afterwards. It was my second time meeting them, so I aleady knew how nice they were-Chris had us all rolling talking about Britney Spears!
NC said it was the largest crowd they've ever played for! I didn't see them alst year when they came to App (I had astronomy lab) but everyone told me they were so upset last year cos they played at our club and half the people were raving drunk, so I am so glad they came back!
I can't wait for their new album-and Sean's! They played The Great Illusion which made me happy cos I hadn't head it yet. The best pat of the night was when they came out and did thei seconf encore-they played Be Thou My Vision-I adore that song and it was hte best endition I ever heard of it!

Hey guys, I loved the boone show. I was lucky enough to get fourth row, and almost the center. My favorite song was the hymn that they sang without the mics. I felt sorry for the people near the back, I wondered if they could hear it at all. Sara did a beautiful job with it as usual. I also thought the decomposing whales song was pretty cool too. I can't wait for Merlefest either. I do think they are much better when they have all the time they want to play like Boone. That show rocked!!!

Earlier in this thread someone said they sang Be Thou My Vision so that was probably the hymn. I've never heard them do that, but would love to. I'm sure it was absolutely beautiful. Ginny Owens--a Christian singer who is blind--starts off her Without Condition CD with it. It's beautiful. I haven't seen NC live since March 3, 2001 and I'm about to die to see them again.

I have that Ginny Owen CD and she has an amazing voice for that song! When I bought that CD, it was the first time I had ever heard Be Thou My Vision.... The words are amazing. It quickly became my favorite hymn.
If you like that song, pick up the Ginny Owen cd Without Condition!

Ginny Owens also has some really cool lyrics to her songs and a pretty unique sound, I think. I haven't gotten her newest CD, but I plan to soon.
