I drew these pictures of Sean cause I think he's great. Which do you like better? The top or bottom one? Please answer!

Man-o-man!! What a tough decision!! [bang] I mean, horsies are, like, what of my most favoritest aminals, and my cat is a total icky-breath after he eats, but...um....I guess I'll have to go w/ the one on top. That's because, since I'm a boy and all, it wouldn't be right to say that I love Sean, even though I really do. He's awesome schmawesome!! :-))

OrnotMajestic
02-02-2003, 03:56 AM
I don't even own a cat, but I picked the last one, cause if I did own a cat, it's breath probably would smell like cat food. And cat food can be many things, including birds and small rodents.

But my pictures are the coolest!! Sean is so awesome!!:-))

.....wow.....it's such a tough decision! I've been agonizing over it for such a long time, decisions, decisions....well since it's the same pic in both, I think I'll pick the one where you added the- I heart- since you went the extra mile on that one. These are so great I'm thinking of making it my avatar, since it's so much better than my current one. Maybe you should make it into a T-shirt and where it to your next concert and sell them. you would make a lot of $$ ;)

WAHAHAHAHAHA!! What a great idea!! I wonder how he would react if I made that into a T-Shirt and wore it too a concert....maybe i should make HIM a T-Shirt.

The pics are great, I chose the top one.

I have to ask you...how do you make your t-shirts, I'd be interested to make with another band I like on it, co I have NC ones from the website, but I guess I could always make an original!

Goose_17
02-03-2003, 07:57 AM
i make mine by going to hobby lobby (an arts and crafts store) buying blank t-shirts, whatever color, and some of the iron letters there. my shirts don't have any kinds of graphics like amanda lynn's but i think she does her's w/ a type of photoshop program on her pc. after that i dunno, maybe she'll respond.

my grandpa has made some shirts before. and all I know is that he got some special printer paper that was used for making T-shirts. you print what you want on the paper and then iron it onto your shirt.
oh yeah, Ornot you should definitly make that into a t-shirt and give it to HIM that would be hilarious, I would love to be there when you handed it to him!

WOW!! That is like a dead ringer!!! What a depressing thought? Who killed the ringer? Anywho, Bryan, you need to quit drawing those, cause drool is hard to get our of my shirts. *gazes at the drawing* She is SOOOOO hot, I can hardly stand it.....in fact, I think I'll go ahead and sit down.......

Ames
02-04-2003, 12:56 AM
Is it just me or do Sean and Sara look REALLY THIN in your drawings? I'm afraid road life is beginning to take it's toll. And Ornot if you made that shirt and wore it to a concert I think Sean would literally run from you. Personally I am at a four-way tie on the poll. Because some days I feel like I Love Sean and other days I could just go for the simplistic, yet moving Sean. AND my cat Banana's breath DOES smell like cat food (and I say that all the time). I do however think both you and Bryan should look into selling your work. It could be your ticket out of this dump.:)

LMAO. I only wish I could say I was that clever. Actually she's fourteen and I've only had her for three years (she was dumped on me by a lameass roomate who moved to Ohio a month after getting her from her orignal owner). Her real name is Chloe (she came with it) and I made her middle name Rhiannon so I could yell her whole name when she gets in trouble. It's too long so it just came out as Banana one day and stuck. So usually it's BANANA stop drinking out of the toilet!! or something along those lines. I have to have the only cat in the world who drinks out of the toilet. However I do love the danger mouse. Don't ever doubt that.

I have a cat that drinks out of the toliet, his name is Moo or Moon. His name went from Halloween, to Hal, to Moomeos, to Moo or Moon. He's a really juicy black cat. Yep that's right we found a black cat on Halloween!! Muahahahah.... [think] It's especially gross when you go into the bathroom to get him down and realize that your brother forgot to flush the toliet! Just make sure he doesn't lick you!

I want to kill him. he scratches all my pretty shoes, sarah can i borrow the toilet so I can drown my cat? he's not good enough for MY pretty toilet...btw

Hey--
Okay, so I haven't been keeping up with this thread and just read the thing about the t-shirts and how to make them....
I use photoshop for the graphics because Adobe photoshop is the most amazing program in the world. Although it cannot make works of art compirable to the aforementioned drawings of sean and sara, sadly enough. And speaking of things that sadden me, I am disappointed that no one has yet drawn a picture of Chris. Alas, I have stepped up to the plate...

Ames
02-07-2003, 06:42 PM
Chris looks really scared. I love it!!

AmandaLynn
02-07-2003, 06:49 PM
I was trying to capture the essence of his expression when, after a particularly fast song, he plucks at his mando to see if it's still in tune...and it isn't. Not by a long shot. Because those are the beautiful moments in a performance. The essence of humanity. Right then.
(Well, to be honest with you, my mouse slipped when I was trying to draw his smile. But as my middle school art teacher taught me, there are no mistakes, only unintended expressions of emotion...heh heh.)

Ames

Yeah, it lacks overall artistic beauty and culture. Mine, on the other hand, screams modern masterpiece and Byrans should be sculpted in bronze and placed in my front yard. If I had a front yard. ;)

AmandaLynn
02-07-2003, 07:55 PM
I'm not talking about overall beauty and culture! I'm talking about SUBLIMINAL COHERENT FEELING which is conveyed in this illustration!
And while we're analysing art, perhaps Ornot would like to explain why Sean's suddenly become a lefty.

he's not a lefty..its a mirrored image to help display sean's feelings of self-examination often times in his writing.
ego vs. superego right?

Exactly, the struggle of one who looks in a mirror and sees himself, only in a different way than anyone else. My picture expresses feigned smiles and heartache associated with hero worship, and how sometimes what we see is not really what truly is, but a backwards reflection of the angst of post-fame adoration that permeates our society.

AmandaLynn
02-08-2003, 01:53 AM
I totally understand what you were getting at now. Just the other day I was working on this new masterpiece which conveys Chris as the Id, Sean as the Superego, and Sara and the Voice of Reason. I am suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to post it.
There it is.
And by the way, that is supposed to be the ESSENCE of sara.
Can't you feel the angst?

Good for you AmandaLynn! Don't let them be the only ones who post b.s. and justify it! And when I said I get what she meant by his far off look I mean I see Chris as happy or reflective when he's on stage. He wasn't happy so I understood she meant reflective. OR I was trying to encourage her burgeoning art career. Whatever.

I am now permeated by such angst, all the way down to my inner child. My inner child is now filled with angst, and is rebelling by dying its hair, and listening to that evil rock-n-roll satan music. And just the other day, I caught it drinking and smoking. See what you've done!! Oh where did I go wrong....it's my fault!! I was never around enough! All those nights where I thought i was helping by working late, instead I was hampering the normal development of my poor inner-child!! OH WHAT AM I GOING TO DO??!?? Perhaps I should ask Dr. Phil?? You know Ornot I hate to do this but I'm gonna have to actually quote J. Lo here. Love don't cost a thing. Maybe you should have just given your inner child love and nurturing instead of all those material things. Kids today are just crying out for love with their crazy hair colors and experimental drugs. All you need is love really. I heard that from John Lennon once.[lolol]

I think you should have your own self-help talk show on tv, to repair the chasms between humans and their inner-children.

I took you advice, and have started nurturing my inner child. I guess I never realized what wuss my inner child was. It started blubbering and fussing and crying, so I had my inner bully beat the inner crap outta my inner child and steal it's lunch money.

Ames
02-10-2003, 02:04 AM
That would work also. Did your inner child have any two dollar bills in it's lunch money? I love those things. I'll buy them off you.

How awesome would a joint talk show be? I could overanalyze things and then you could come out (in costume) and berate my guests. I see a ratings spike.

OrnotMajestic
02-10-2003, 01:14 PM

You could swing her around in the air by her multicoloured weave. Oh and while we're beating Jackson we could probably free his kids and get those burkas of their heads. Poor kids and their carnival masks. He is a very odd man. Have we picked a network to pitch this to?

This is the network that came up with Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire?, Married By America, and Joe Millionaire. Hmm if we're pitching it to Fox we're gonna have to inlcude either a) Marriage or b) Millionaires. WE COULD MAKE MICHAEL JACKSON AND CHRISTINA AGWEELERA GET MARRIED!! Well, if they got married and reproduced (shudder to think), I do believe their offspring would provide Jerry Springer with at least 2 more seasons of his show....perhaps we should team up with Springer and have a supershow??:D

Springer? He's old, he'd just bring us down. Plus I don't want really nasty people fighting/stripping on my show. Let's keep in clean folks, keep it clean. Anyhoo I don't think Michael Jackson and X-tina Agweelera could reproduce. I think he might possibly be asexual and all that spray-on tan and hair bleach she uses prolly fried all her eggs. (sidenote: I hate to eat eggs) When did this become our thread? lol We are gonna have to hire some of the other members as talent scouts/security/audience members. Hopefully they will work for free.[evil eye]
