CD's of Live Shows

I have seen some Nickel Creek Shows being traded in a few communities where people trade live concerts. Im just wondering

1. Nickel Creek is cool with this? (I HOPE SO)

2. If they are, anyone here have a collection and willing to share?

They do allow taping, so they have to be ok with fan trading. I'm looking into getting my first two cd's in the next month or so. When I get them I'll put up a post for people who want a copy.

So Now I would like to change the topic, who here is intrested in sharing copies of shows and besides kevin and myself who is willing to do Blanks and Postage for others?

they do allow taping, but don't assume they allow trading... we have heard mixed views form them on this- and of what we have heard so far- they are not in favor of digital trading- br it napster, etc....

we are hopefully goign to be getting a established recording/ trading policy form them soon------
remember, the management is watchign us here- on how responsible we can be- so just- be carefull not to assume- .


let hope they allow some sort of trading! their live music is an art- it is cool to hear it!

Okay the Bands Policy is VERY NONE SPECIFIC towards trading. I have asked for further clarification, if others are intrested I think you should ask too......the more people they realize are intrested maybe they will specify exactly what is okay!

Trading isn't bad.... Why wouldn't they be into it....I've never heard a dat machine record anything close to studio quality especialy bluegrass where its very quiet at times and you can hear the guy next to you on his cell phone.... Look at the grateful dead...100s of people tapped every show of theirs and I don't think they were lacking any record sales. They should worry about people trying to steal their studio stuff and be thankful and happy that other people want to spread the word by exchanging live recordings.....just my opinion flaws and all

ha ha! i unspecifically would love copies of any of the merlefest shows! i know someone who most of the show they did saturday night at the watson stage...

but unspecifically speaking of course...

i heard from one of the gang (staying nonspecific!) that they record all of their shows, not that they need the cash but maybe we should try to sweet talk them out of some of the goodies!

I have the atl show I'd love to trade ..... I also would like to have the setlist as I am a fairly new fan and don't know many of the titles. Let me know if you have anything to trade or not.....

i can get ya that one show they did at merlfest on the watson stage, but it has two partial songs on it. the rest is fabulous!
