Dissapointed Florida fan..

Are their anyother forum members, who live in Florida and are as dissapointed as I am, about NC not coming here that much at all... Id give anything to go to a NC concert... But they hardly ever come to Florida and usualy if they do its like in some part of Florida thats not near me.....Why cant they come to Jacksonville or somwhere near me... Argh.. Its so dissapointing.. Sorry guys.. I just had to let my feelings be heard... I want to see NC in concert so bad it hurts..

:( I'm sorry!! Maybe you can go to the one in Savannah on April 10th. It would be like a 4 hour drive, but it seems like the closest. I have to drive like 2 1/2 hours to see them in Alabama. I don't know what I would do if they didn't come anywhere near where I live. Hope you can make it to the Savannah one if you are up for the drive!

I totally hear you about the disappointment of Nickel Creek not coming to Florida to tour, but it's not a big surprise -- most tours skip over FL. However, Eric18, you live all the way up in St. Augustine, so I don't see how you could be too upset since you've got the concert in Savannah in southern GA. I'm strongly thinking about driving up there for that one by myself, and you only have about half the distance to drive. Where there's a will, there's a way, so hopefully you'll be able to find a way to make it there yourself. I've heard so much good stuff regarding their live concerts that I am dying to experience one for myself...

If you wanna talk about tours skipping places, just be glad you don't live in North Dakota! The nearest real concert venue is Minneapolis, which is 8 hours away. But for those of you also in under-tour-privileged areas, I feel your pain.

I know!! When so many fine musicians come from the Sunshine State (Mike Marshall, Aubrey Haynie..) WHY OH WHY do we not get Nickel Creek?! I get to see Mike Marshall and Darol Anger since they do MagnoliaFest and SpringFest in Live Oak.. but I've never seen Nickel Creek live, and I'm DYING to see Chris live.. we really should send a group letter ;)

I am not an expert by no means, but I would suggest about the amount of fans they could fit into a show they would do there. So, see what venues there they have played and see what size crowd that holds and just aim higher by a hundred or so. Maybe that is too small together for a figure who knows.

They were at the Suwannee Springfest last year and I was hoping they would be there again this year, but no such luck. That whole festival was awesome but they were definently the highlight of the weekend.
I have been trying to see if I could swing driving up to one of their shows, but I have not made any plans yet.

Wanna help let Nickel Creek know how much we'd love to have them perform in Florida again soon? Great! Get involved here! Reasons Why we need to see them live!!
