Just a heads-up for those in the LA area... According to Largo's website (www.largo-la.com), there will be a Watkins Family Hour on April 15...so get those taxes done early and go to the show!

the 15th is billed as Watkins Family Special w/Dan Wilson of Supersonic

the 16th is billed as Dan Wilson of Supersonic w/Sara and Sean Watkins

They are not accepting reservations anymore for the 15th (IF YOU HAVE AN EXTRA SEAT LET ME KNOW!!!) but they have a few seats left on the 16th which I was able to get. Call NOW if you want to go on the 16th.

Did anyone go last night... how was the show??

I was there. The show was great! I posted my experiences in a thread below. I did talk with people on line waiting for room at the bar. Happily we got seats at the bar. As the club is small there isn't a bad seat, but I wouldn't be happy standing all that time - including nearly two hours waiting to get in.

Reservations for dinner would be the best option by far. There's always next time... :cool:

Sneezy, I cant make it tonight. I had a reservation. Do you want it?? Let me know. I could either tell you my info or see if theyd be willing to change it to you. I have huge car problems ;o( that came up this week unfortunatley. Im in Irvine, BTW!

Last night when one reservation was cancelled the offer to those on line was gobbled up immediately by those ahead of us. I suspect that would happen again if you can't find a friendly Creekster in need.... :)

Cool... I cancelled it. funny thing is the Largo recording doesnt mention NC being tonights gig (Sara./Sean w/Dan). So maybe I had the info down wrong. Who knows... well regardless someone could use it!
