Anyone have the mandolin tab for Sweet Afton? I've got the first phrase but am having trouble from there. [bang] Any help would be appriciated.

The same chords work for mandolin as well. Guitar is played without capo so chords remain the same. :D

Thanks, but I'm not sure how these chords translate to the melody line Chris plays. Here's what I have so far:
--------0------0-----0----------------------------
---2s------7-----7-----6----2---0---2---4---2-
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
---0------------0------------ 0-------------------
---7---6---6----7---6---4-------4---6---4---2-
----------------------------------------------------

The chords are as follows:
Verses:
E-B-A-E-E
C#m-B-A-E-E
E-B-A-E-E
C#m-B-A-E-E
Chorus:
C#m-B-A-E-E
F#m-F#m-A-B-B
G#m-A-G#-C#m-B-A-E
F#m-F#m-A-B-B
The format is:
Verse-Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Verse
Enjoy! [noise]

On guitar I play it this way (capo IV for original key).
Verse:
C G F C
Am G F C
C G F C
Am G F C
Refrain:
Am C F C
Dm Dm F G
Em F E Am G F C
Dm Dm F G
For me this has a more open sound than barre chords.
What I was looking for was not the chords rather the melody riff line for the mandolin :)
Peace,
Robb

Okay, now I have the actual melody:
--------------------------------------
---2s---7-7-7-6-2----2-4-2-0-2-
--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
---2s---6-6-6-4-4----4-7-6-2-2-
--------------------------------------
Can someone help me fill it out with the incidentals, etc.. I know that the first line uses an interplay with the 'e' string, but from there I'm still lost (I've only been playing mandolin since friday).
Peace,
Robb

Sweet Afton is a fun song to play. I talked to Sean and he actually plays the song capoed 2nd fret but tuned to DADGAD. Tuned like this , you will here that it sounds great. Fiddle with this and have fun!!!!
