when would you guys want to have a club chat? lets try to get a tme for a bunch of people to all show up at the same time......

It'll be hard to find a good time for us all.....just geographically speaking. I'm game for just about any time, day or night, except for Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays, cuz I gotta go to work then. :(

I like Bryan's idea. Maybe there could be two rooms...one for some time during the week and one a weekender. There's no way you will find a time to suit everybody.

But, of course, since Bry and I are the only ones who have responded, we should have first pick.

I dunno about anyone else but I found the login kinda confusing and hard to do espeically since they give you the password. Usually there are atleast 6 of us who all chat in a room that one of us creates under AIM but I know not eveyrone has AIM.

Well, I would say Wednesday at 7PM central. Maybe 7:30 to give the left coast people a chance to get home.

Left coast? Oh, that's me. Well, that'd be 5:30p.m. my time and peachy. Of course, I can't this coming Wednesday becuz it's my bday and I am being dragged out for dinner. But, in general, I think probably that's a good day/time for the majority of us and I'd go with it. If we find out too many people who want to chat can't do it then, we can just try another day/time. Go fer it.

Of course, it's now 2:45am and here I am, the poster child for insomnia, with nobody to chat with.

we are working on getting a better chat room- there are a couple hacks that can install a integrated chat to the vbulletin... we haev tog et some functional hacks installed first- and some of them take a lot of time/ rewriting code.. [one of them will allow the google bot to spider the forum [as opposed to just the entry page], and archieve all of our messages] so all your posts will be showing up in google searches people do......

plus that will allow you guys to search for posts using google, instead of our stinker search engine =Þ

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you just said that you were trying to get a better chat room, and there is a possibility that our chats will come up under a google search...but what in the world isthe google bot to spider the forum???

The bot is the thing that does the searching. Spidering is what is does.

That's a crappy explanation. Your best best is to look it up. Do a Google search.
