:-)) OMG! I just got back from Merlefest 2002....it was the absolute best weekend of my life EVER! I met Sean and Chris twice and Sara once. I was so overwhelmed I actually CRIED after I met Chris! But thankfully, I did NOT cry in front of him!! Was anyone here at the concert at th Hillside stage on Friday? I was the girl who they pointed out b/c I was wearing their t-shirt. I thought I was going to freak out! I LOVE NICKEL CREEK!!

I was at merlefest and i went to all of nickel creeks performances yeah i noticed you when you were at the hillside with your shirt~ did you go back after the austin stage performance and talk to them! that was fun!:D

merlefest was a great time! i got to see everything too, which was nice! what an awesome turnout! i was glad to see so many people at the shows! i remember the tshirt comment!! i was actually fortunate enough to get the stage manager at that show to take some photos of the group from the stage! what a nice guy! (thanks again jerry!) and i bumped into all three of them so many times i felt like the paparazzi! (lots of pictures- my friend was a good sport about being stuck with the camera!)

they really are pretty approachable! i was helping a venue promote one of their shows a year or so ago, and thats how i came across them. i dont work for those guys anymore, but i will always be grateful for that heads up!

looking forward to merlefest 16!!

how amazing was chris with mike on the mandolin saturday early afternoon?! i cant wait for that record!!!!

Wow! All of NC's performances were awesome! The Midnight Jam sticks out in my mind as being the best. When you have Chris, Sean, Sara, Gillian and Rawlings on the stage all at the same time.....it doesn't get any better than that! Can't wait for next year!:)
