I hope both of those, Locking Doors and You Don't Have To Move That Mountain, along with Decomposing Whale are all on there. Hey I was wondering if anyone knew anymore about the Street Team. I kept checking back with it frequently, and then one day I went back to their website, and they had done some maintenance, and the link to the Street Team is nowhere to be found. If you guys know about it, please let me know. By the way, I have 2 pics of me and my friends with the band, but I don't have a scanner. If I get a chance, I'll put them on for you all. One of them is a Blue Steel picture. thats it for now.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe You Don't Have to Move That Mountain was on their Here to There CD, so I don't think it will be on the new one, but I could be wrong.

I say if you're not obsessing about something, you might not be into it quite enough.

-Chris Thile

My advice is to see them live as much as possible. I mean, it doesn't matter if you have to sell your soul to the devil, get to their concerts!! You can't fully appreciate Nickel Creek's awesome talent untill you've seen them live. I've seen them in concert 10 times now, and every time I get more and more blown away. I love Nickel Creek!

I've been begging my dad all morning and it turns out we may go see them in Chattanooga, TN at the RiverBend Festival :) Whoooo hoooooo

That's good! Don't stop bugging your dad until he takes you to their concert! He will thank you and probably buy you a car after he sees them! :-))

Welllllll...

I woudn't go quite that far, and I don't think they would either :)

[shock]

But most things short of selling one's soul are probably fair game.

One of the artists I used to tour with had a couple fans that would fly across the country to see a show. That's definitely a bit on the obsessive side... but I can't say that I haven't driven 6 hours to see a show of an artist I've really liked. It's all a matter of degrees, I guess.

Ok, Ok. Maybe not *selling* your soul to the devil. Just maybe loaning it to him for a few days.

lol. I've driven 9 hours to see a band I liked, so driving to two hours to Chattanooga should not be a problem. ;) I really don't think that traveling across country is obsessive at all. Dedication is a good word :D

*ponders on dad buying me a car* I could live with that *lol*

Hi SweetAfton!:)

Welcome to the club! I am also from Alabama, attending college, and am planning to go to Riverbend with a couple of friends to see Nickel Creek and Lonestar (Lonestar for them, NC for me). Hopefully, once they see NC live they will become fans as well but I know they won't ever come close to being as big a fan as I am.

Anyway, I have seen Nickel Creek live once before in Chattanooga at Nightfall, a show that I think is done weekly with different artists, in Miller Plaza. It was a great show even though from where I was standing I could usually only see two members of the band at a time and the sound was not that great on the side where we were standing. So, if you go, try to get there early enough to get a good place to put your chairs and try to not get too far off to the side of the stage even though it may be closer.

Hiya Anna! Thanks for the welcome! Ohh that's so cool that you are going to Riverbend also. Maybe we can meet up there or something. :) I still have to stay on my father's case so he can give me a definite answer. Thanks soooo much for the tips! That's my dad's biggest concern, he doesn't want to have to take off work. But maybe he can take a half-day or something. Well once again thanks for the welcome and I hope we can talk more!! :)

Umm...I flew back from China last year to see them in Chattanooga. That's not obsessive, is it?

I may be going to both riverbend and blue plum...am I allowed to buy a one day pass (at riverbend) at the gate or do I have to buy them before-hand?

Do you think Nickel Creek will ever put Starfish on one of heir albums? I mean, I know Sister Hazel put it out first and Nickel Creek is DEFINATELY not a cover band, but I love hearing them do that song. Any hope that it would eventually be on an album?

I wonder when they are going to release a new video from the album?
