Awww...I wish I could go to both, but that would be pushing it, considering that I will have just moved down to Florida a few days before. How far is St. Petersburg from Gainesville anyway?

oooooo thats definetely a drive. DEFINETELY make it to the House of Blues, St Petersburg is south of Tampa.. it'd be a real drive for you :p

I think its about 3 hours. Give or take 30 minutes. More on the take side. They have great beaches there. White, white sand.
Hmm, Nickel Creek and beach. Sounds like a winning combo to me.

Jannus Landing actually isn't all that close to the beach, but it's in a cool part of St Pete by an area called CityWalk and it's never too far from the beach from St Pete. Just in case anyone needed any selling points on comin ;)

Hehe, guess that proves I dont know St. Pete that well. Only been there for the beach. :) But still, where I am, you have to drive 2 hrs. to begin with to get to a semi nice beach. Driving across town to get to one is a walk in the park. I'd take advantage of it. lol
