Recommend AK fiddling song??

Hey! I was wondering if someone could help me out here! Years ago, when When You Say Nothing At All was really big, I was REALLY not into Allison Krauss. I didn't like that song at all. Then I saw a story on AKUS on CNN or something, and they had a clip of them playing live, and she was fiddling reeeally really fast - and I thought then I was into her instrumental stuff. And every since then, I've been excited anytime she comes on tv and does something live, hoping she'll play something like that again so my family can hear it too (I love a lot of her stuff now, but I still want them to see how great she can play fast!!). Does anyone have any good recommendations on songs where it displays her talent in this?? I don't have any of her albums so I know I'm not familar with most of her stuff. . . thanksies!!! :)

Choctaw Hayride is a good one. So is Bright Sunny South. Both from her's and Union Station's 'New Favorite' album. I just saw her and US in Tulsa on Tuesday and they did this really great instrumental, but didn't say what it was. Dan was playing the mando, Ron on the banjo, and Larry was playing drums. Does anyone know which one that is, by any chance? Anyway, that was a great song.

I think the song that Okie was thinking of was Cluck Old Hen. AKUS play it all the time. It is on their Live CD. It REALLY showcases Allison's fiddling. It is one of my favorites. The faster the better......

Your welcome. I love that song too. It really showcases Allison's fiddle abilities. It is so bluegrassy but she puts a lot of old time style in it. It's right up may alley! [noise]

Lauren, the song I'm talking about is not Cluck Old Hen. I just got the 'Live' CD today, and it's We Hide & Seek. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for the help, though! :)

None they are all hard. She plays in very odd keys.
