hey everyone. I put a post up last week, and asked if anyone knew anything more about when they are starting the Street Team for NC. I didn't get any response [bang] Just wondering if anyone has heard anything more.

I don't know when you can actually start getting involved but you can sign up now at sugarhillrecords.com. That is really all I know about it.

I submitted my application yesterday....what do they base who they pick on? I REALLY want to be a part of it....

I was sent an application through email yesterday asking me about what cds I've recently bought, what bands I like, where I would go to promote NC, what's good about the area I live in and so forth. Today, I got an email saying they would send me stuff... I'm not sure what, but I'll let you know when I find out!

I have been working as a street teamer for sugar hill and several other bands/record companies(John Mayer, Jack Johnson, ATO Records, Patty Griffin) for about a year now and it is so, so much fun! You get to spread the joy of the mjsic you love to other plus you get advance cd singles to pass out, stickers, help with meet n greets, help sell merch at shows (i helped NC at a show in Nashville in Feb-it was so fun). I've met great people and had a great time! I am hoping to professionally work in the music industry so its a great experience for me. :)

It sounds like alot of fun....I got an email from Sugar Hill yesterday saying they were gonna send me stuff........I can't wait!!

i also want to work in the music industry, and if this is where i can get my start great!! b/c it will be worth it and sooooo much fun to get the word out on a band i love so much!!

ack! boy did just screw myself... i waited a bit to send in my registration application..and what did i do in the meantime? lost the email address to send it all too....if anyone could tell me what it was i would be very happy...:o
