Do you guys get NC to personalize their signatures to you? If so, what are some of the unique ones out there?

I have probably have one of the best. I had Chris sign my scrapbook, and he wrote very nice paper.'' I was actually excited that Chris knew what good quality paper is. Then Sara wrote I agree and drew an arrow to Chris's quote.

I got them all pins, one mandolin, a guitar and of course a fiddle, and so when signing my This Side CD, Sara (she's the sweetest) was so thankful and asked me what my name was and she wrote: Lisa, thanks for the fiddle pin! it was great. :D

That is so cool! They signed your scrapbook! I'll have to remember that the next time I go to one of their concerts..... I'll probably just end up bringing one page tho, because my scrapbook is too heavy to drag with me.... haha...

At the show I went to last September, I had each of them sign my This Side cd. At the Chris Thile and Mike Marshall show up in Seattle in march I had both of them sign a pick and Chris signed my NAWWAL booklet.

Last June at the Lancaster show, I had Chris sign my Dad's CD, since he couldn't be there (he was recovering from surgery) and I told him how my Dad really wanted to be there, so on his CD he wrote See ya next time, Larry It was so cool. Also a guy my Dad works with had taken a get well card with him and he got all three of them to write a little something in the card for my Dad. They are all SO Sweet!!!

I went to an outdoor show last summer, and had snuck right up front with my camera to take some pics fpr my twin sister who couldn't be there. They commented on the AZ heat, and Chris pointed out the fact that everyone had found some shade but me. I hadn't even noticed, but there I was right in front catching the ray of sunshine that snuck between the umbrellas. He asked why I was sitting in the sun, and I said I was trying to get a picture of Sean. So they dedicated Warmth of the Sun to me and suggested that because it was a song that Sean sang, it would make for great pics. When I got my cd signed, Chris wrote To Sun Girl! and Sarah added Hope you got a good pic of Sean! They were very sweet, and seem to make most feel very special.

When I first met them, Sarah was the first one I talked to, and I was so excited and thrilled I started to cry. I ended up explaining how much their music helped me through a really tough time and told her about my plans to work in music in Nashville, she signed poster, good luck in Nashville I have it framed and one day it will hang in my office, when I get one. It was also my birthday so Chris and Sean wrote happy birthday. I also have a Chris signature on the Into The Cauldron CD where his mouth is open kinda on the slip cover any way he made it look like he is screaming his name, its funny. (I hope that made sense!)

Chris wrote To Melanie-You Rock on one of my t-shirts. Then Sean wrote Nice Shirt! on this thing I got signed (it was before they were really well known and I had one of their shirts on).

My friend Rebecca got this for me and told em that I was a fan and i've never got to meet them but really want to so Chris wrote To Sarah: See ya soon! and Sara wrote To H! meaning Sarah w/ an H.

dunno if this is personal but it's neat i think..
sara was signing a cd for some guy and i was next and she said to me o gee, i dont think i wrote my whole name on that .. it's just an 'S' with a scribble line after it! so i handed her my T shirt and she made a point to write SARA WATKINS in all capitals so u can read it!

Well I have gotten all of their signatures, but the best one was when I saw MAS and had gone a thousand miles to see them. I had told Glen Phillips about traveling from Vegas to see them so he wrote Caylynne have a safe drive hope and then his signature. I also did get the jesus fish on Chris' sig but I think he was doing that on most of them at the time. Not sure if he still does.

When I was the HTGAB back in the fall, right after Chris released his new cd, I took posters that I had gotten from the record label to get signed. They had the cd cover on them and then a small pic of Chris in the lower corner. Well, Pickles and Gabe took it upon themselves to personalize the picture. They made Chris a bunny on one poster and a devil on the other. When we took them to Chris to get them signed, he got a good laugh out of it. :)
