Well - the Dublin gig blew us away, we got 3 encores, a visit from Tim O'Brien & the usual dazzling performance it was incredible - but since I went to the one in London too I knew what to expect. You lucky people in the states have so many gigs to choose from (ok so the USA is a fairly large place, but still), we're they'll be back for a concert in Glasgow in October, but if that's the only one there will probably be blood spilt trying to get tickets.

Theyre still relatively unknown over here, and to be honest that's quite a good thing - if they get big the concerts will be bigger and less magical maybe...? I think the fact that there were only a few hundred people at our gigs made them all the more special. Who knows?

They've timed the release of the Lighthouse a bit badly over here as everyone who doesnt know gets confused with Nickleback. hmmm....

Anyway - planning next years holiday .. to the states...

surely you forgot to add about being too chicken to meet them afterwards - but making up for it big style by staying at the same hotel and interrupting their breakfast the morning after!!

This sounds like an interesting story I'd like to hear. Think you can share it?

Oh it really is nothing - headgear was just stirring.
My husband and I didnt realise they were in the same hotel as us until breakfast - I happened to see Sara and just went up to say hello and thank her for a great evening - that was all. I felt a bit bad as she was obviously just trying to eat her breakfast & didnt need a madwoman hassling her!

i don't think you missed out though - you get to see them a lot.

the gigs were amazing - I've heard two out of the three - and i think they'd wipe the floor with anything in the chart at the moment.

i think it was as much an adventure for them to be over here as it was for us - which sort of made it a bit special.

they've just released their first single over here this week - it's the lighthouse's tale. i'm not sure it will chart. but i've got my copy to help them along.
