First concert...

Ok, I am going to a nickel creek concert and it starts at 7:30 and i want good seats, What time should i be there by. I only live an hour away from the show so i can be there early. Oh and this is my first concert so i am sooooo happy it's going to be Nickel Creek!!


My mom likes Nickel creek, but dosent know any of the words so i have to teach them to her. hehehe that'll be interesting......[party]

If you want really good seat and it's general admission I reccomend getting there a few hours before doors open. I got to the Chris Thile/Mike Marshall show in Seattle an hour and a half before the doors opened and didn't really get too great of seats. Adyn however did get good seats because she got there 4 hours before. Now Nickel Creek shows are more popular than the Chris and Mike Shows because they have more of a fanbase (not that Mike and Chris don't, just not quite as large), so you may want to get there even earlier.

:D That's about what I usually do if I can. But I reeeeaally like being up front. Partially cause I'm short. I hate doing that bob and weave thing trying to see around the heads in front of me. Plus it's just fun. I generally have a great time hangin with people in line, so the long wait doesn't baother me. I have also learned to warn my friends... if you want to come with me, awesome, but i go reeeaaally early, get as far up front as possible and stay really late [lolol] Then, being forwarned, no one complains and we're all happy LOL.

Emily, I assume your talking about the Portland show? I already PM'd you about this, but I'm going too. :-) This will be a great show, as usual! I'm counting the hours. Hee hee...

I'm trying to get there around 2 or 3 PM for the 7:30 PM show. Does that sound good everyone? Keep in mind, Maine isn't the biggest state, and we don't have too many Nickel Creek fans, from what I know.

the show i went to in cleveland started at 8, and we got there at about 7:40 (not my doing AT ALL) but i still managed to be maybe 5 or 6 rows of people from the stage. not great but not too bad for being so late. 4 hours?!

lol Maine dosent have that many fans so i guess your right, But better safe then sorry.
