I want to give out heaps o' credit to the bass players that have ever played with Nickel Creek. Thier amazing musicianship has added a solid platform for the songs to stand on. Without the bass players there would be something missing. Each bass player has had there influence and style shown remarkabley in each and every song. Thier stage presence has been stunning as well. Rocking like a true rock star alongside Chris, pretending to have a bowing contest with Sara, relaxing to the music with Sean, or clogging during a break. They all add flavor and character to the shows making it a memorable one for fans to enjoy along with the music and stage antics of Sean, Chris and Sara.
in conclusion, large props and credits to all of the bass players who have graced the stage and studio floor of Nickel Creek.

Yes - kudos to Mark! I don't know if anyone has seen this or not, but Mark has a website and he wrote a little tidbit about his tour with Nickel Creek. What he wrote is really impressive (talking about Nickel Creek's musicianship), especially considering he's a very seasoned and experienced veteran of the field.

Kudos to all of the bass players who have played with Nickel Creek, they deserve recognition too! If you happen to see any of them at a concert, don't forget to tell them how great they are! Without the bass players, there definetly is something missing...They are all very talented musicians and NC recognizes that, you should too!

Yea! for Mark.
I honestly haven't seen anybody else but him in the 2 shows that i've been to, but I was able to talk with after the last concert for about 10-15 min. We were talking about how long he's been on the rode with the guys, when he auditioned, sharks (hehe),frisbee and couple of other things.
Good guy. Also, if anybody has ever been to the merchandise table after shows, Mark has his CD out there too.

Yep, Mark Schatz kicks. I have seen three different bass players with NC, but Mark takes the cake. He really seems to enjoy playing with them, and I think they really like him too. They interact much more with him. Plus, he's the only one who's come out to talk with fans after the show, and he's SUPER nice.
