I know Cornerstone Festival in IL has many other styles of music represented...and I know many of you have eclectic tastes much like me..so I was wondering if anyone else was going to the festival starting next weekend? I'm going as a guest with Relevant Magazine..I'm totally psyched.

I went last year. I wasn't really sure what it was about, some friends were going and I needed to get away, so I went. It was alright. Enjoyed Ticklepenny Corner, Over the Rhine and Bill Mallonee....Madison Greene was good too....other than that I just chilled at the tent and played guitar. Pretty eclectic.

I love Madison Greene and Over The Rhine. I'm most excited abouting seeing them really. There is also a songwriting session with Linford Detweiler (of Over The Rhine) that I'm going to. Because he's an incredible writer/poet.

some of my good friends have a band called Infradig Ensemble that you may want to check out there. Apparently they got a really good reception last time, and the drummer Josh Green is quite amazing, so he's doing some workshops. The used to classify themselves as jazz/funk/whatnot, and I suppose that label still holds true, just the whatnot involves electronic kinda stuff. these guys got talent, coolness and fun, and since most of them are some of my best friends, I can say with assurance that they're really nice guys too.

anyway, check em out at cornerstone. you can grab a bunch of mp3s at their site: www.infradig.net
