I was browsing over at Amazon and they have under Nickel Creek, TBD releasing on August 13th. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/artist/glance/-/192918/ref=m_art_dp/102-6008526-5206516
I don't know if this is really the Title or that the title is to be determined. Looks like you can preorder it.
Didn't see anything about Mutual Admiration Society.

Hmmm. That's very interesting. Wonder if there's anything at the Sugar Hill site about it.

TBD is definitely To be determined.
I have no knowledge on their album one way or the other, but I can tell you that Amazon gets the info in its database directly from the supplier (in this case, Sugar Hill), and those dates are often scheduled *months* in advance.
As such, there's no telling whether 8/13 is a date somebody at Sugar Hill picked out of the air, or whether it's a real date... but I'm quite sure that as soon as there's anything official, that Kathy will have it up on the nickelcreek.com site immediately...

I was wondering the same thing, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I pre-ordered the CD also. I can't wait to get it!!![noise]

I heard Sean say that the new CD might be called This Side. I just can't wait until it comes out or at least we can see the final song list. I like Chris' Locking Doors, so I'm glad if it's going to be on it. What movie did he get the idea from? Having Some Problems? I heard Chris explaining it but didn't catch the title of the movie--some guy that's OCD and a homophobe and doesn't like woman. I heard he wrote it in that little game they'd play on the bus. Anyone else know some background on it?

The movie it's from is As Good As it Gets... about Jack Nicholson's character I believe. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I've heard about that game from one of Sara's journal entries and I also heard them talk about it at Merlefest...apparently, they would pick a topic in the morning and by the next morning they had to have a song written about it. One day their topic was locking doors and Chris and Sean apparently wrote the winners because (I think) Chris's is going to be on their new album and Sean's will be on his solo album. It was so wierd... I heard Nickel Creek sing Chris's Locking Doors and was blown away, then later I heard Sean sing HIS Locking Doors and was equally blown away. But the two songs were SOOO different! Chris's is all upbeat and funny, while Sean's is slower and more serious (though equally as good.) I can't wait till both Nickel Creek and Sean's new albums come out!
