couldn't someone just tape a show and sell it? minus all this b&p stuff? or is that illegal? because i would like a copy of the june 11 show in cleveland and have read these b&p newcomers things and still dont understand it! could someone please explain...

Selling the recordings is definitely against the policy, not to mention illegal. One of the benifits of an open taping policy is that it helps prevent people from bootlegging (selling) the recordings because they're so easy to get for free.

(If you're the Allison that emailed me about the Cleveland show, you'll see what I mean about how easy it is to get 'em free) :)
