haunting songs

[noise] its official..Green and Grey has been stuck in my head for 3 days in a row now....its so hard to concentrate in school when all you want to do is listen to the song..well guess what!? schools ended now so bye! does this happen to everyone else as well?

I totally understand you on that one. I last saw NC in March (three days in a row :D ) and had Green and Grey stuck in my head forever without knowing the words. I'm constantly singing NC songs (or actually humming to hide my lack of vocal skills). You're in good company here!!

Green and Grey is one that stuck in my head immediately upon hearing it for the first time, about a year ago. Same for This side.

When I saw Chris a couple months after hearing it the first time, I mentioned to him that Green and Grey in particular was just really haunting and moving for me, and he said that, for whatever reason, he'd had a lot of comments to that effect on that particular song.

I haven't heard him sing it in the 3rd person version, but I have to say that it seems like the 1st person version (I'm in a room full of people...) would connect a lot better for me. I'm sure that Chris had good reason for changing it to 3rd person, though :)

i LOVE Green and Gray! I'm so excited for the new album it almost hurts!
