[noise] Just saw Nickel Creek on the PBS Bluegrass special. What was the name of the tune NC did on the show and is it on an album and available?

I have no idea what special you are talking about. I saw one on my local PBS station, though, and it had to have been from around 3 or 4 years ago. Chris had some poofy hair... but it was still great.

They performed some of the songs from the album on that one, but it was around 11 on Saturday night when I saw it. I remember they performed Sweet Afton on it.

I know that wasn't helpful. But, you got me thinking of the PBS special I saw.[splat]

Does anyone have a tape of Austin City Limits they'd be willing to trade? Is this ok with the band? I mean, I know they don't like people to share their music, but I wasn't sure if taping ACL might be ok because it's on cable TV anyway.

[noise] The law is that you are entitled to tape a television show for the purposes of time shifting, that is watching it at another time.

I think get a copy of the PBS special off the airwave to view qualifies.

[noise] Sometime they offer tapes or DVDs of programs, but I haven't seen anything about that yet. The home video/dvd market is usually initiated after the program has run its course throughout the network.. IF you do find it, let me know.

NYCheese....There was a Bluegrass special on PBS (I think PBS...)on February 2nd....NC was on it. You might want to call your local PBS stattion to see if they plan on showing it again....they do tend to repeat things like this
