12 string guitar

have you tried playing with one of those picks that are supposed to make a six-string sound like a twelve?? they're pretty cool!!

GC: I don't play guitar. I've got a ukele and played viola in school though. :)

On Saturday I heard the 12 string guitar discussed on the radio. It's got a unique sound. It would bring more sound & novelty to the accoustic blend of NC I suspect.

Cool! I may be pestering you later regarding the uke; my guitar teacher wants me to learn some uke chords cuz they work well in jazz playing.... :D and I'm kinda intriguied by the viola...

Interesting idea about the sound it would bring to NC...they already sound sooo full, I wonder how a naturally more-full sounding instrument like the twelve string would impact that...tres cool...not to mention all the wicked tunings that can be done on a 12string - I LOVE alt tunings!!! [noise]
