Hey, everyone! Please tell us about yourself!!

Since we've got all of these nifty bells and whistles on this board, it would be a great way to help build our little virtual community if everyone would take a couple minutes and fill out their user profile.

To do so, click on User CP at the top, then click on edit profile when the page comes up.

Sometime in the next couple months, we'll modify the profile to include a lot more fields relevant to this group (instruments played, whether you trade recordings, what other musical influences you have, hair color (jk!). If you have any suggestions as what sorts of things would be useful in the user profiles, post in the related thread.

Also, if you want to append a message here to tell everyone about yourself, that would be great!! But please also fill in the profile info so that people can tie your username and your interests/etc together in the future!

Hey! I am an 18 year old female from Nashville, TN. Next year I will be attending Murray State University in KY (I'm sure you all have heard of it--HaHa!) where I will be studying theatre and literature. I am an aspiring songwriter-music obbsessed-indie movie-theatre-FREAK with curly brown/blonde hair. yea.... anyway my other musical influences are Radiohead, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, The Beatles, Patty Griffen, Over The Rhine, Jump Little Children, David Mead, Elliot Smith, Pedro the Lion AND much much much MORE (it would take way too long to list everyone). In my spare time I write songs, poetry, and prose, dance (I have danced for 14 years), go to concets, sing, I am learning guitar and mando, and I paint/collage. I am a vegeterain and I lover of Coffee.
Mostly my life consists of Church (Belmont Church), school and music. I know this is to much info but hey..I'm bored.

Well, my name is Robin Gomez, I am 17 year old male who loves music and spends a lot of time composing and trying to keep up with all of Chris' new tunes. I have played mandolin for 4-5 years, and have become completely and totally in love with the mandolin. I'm waiting on my new mandolin (My Dudenbostel) and in the mean time, I play a pretty fair student mandolin (an Oscar Schmidtt). While I am waiting for my dude, I am getting a Cepak mandolin (Like Radim Zenkl's). Well, I think I bored you all enough for now!! LOL...
