Northern Lights- anyone going?

anyone here going to the concert tomorrow night in clifton park, ny? My friend and I are going...my second NC concert in the past 5 days!!! I saw them in Newburyport, MA and they were great, but i cant wait to see them play a little longer:D

Northern Lights was my first Nickel Creek show! I thought they were really incredible...as a huge Wilco fan, you can imagine how thrilled I was to hear I Am Trying To Break Your Heart and Poor Places. In fact, I jumped up bright and eraly this morning and posted this to the Wilco board I'm active in:

I think I know what the kids in Nickel Creek are listening to on the bus...

During their show last night they did a medley that wove I Am Trying To Break Your Heart into their hit song The Lighthouse's Tale! It was really beautiful, not to mention extremely cool and surprising.

When Nickel Creek came out for their encore, they stepped out from behind the mics and unplugged, explaining that an acoustic show should have some actual acoustic music. The crowded club fell completely silent, so quiet that I could hear the hair stand up on the back of my neck as they went into quiet and lovely rendition of Poor Places! The harmonies between Chris Thile and Sara Watkins during the chorus were out of this world.

This was a fantastic show to begin with; The addition of the Wilco songs really blew me away.

Nice pics! If you want to make them smaller, you can resize them in any photo editing program...your friend's scanner probably came wiith the software.
