Good News!
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King comes out December 17.
That is far to long to wait, but at least we know when.
Also The Two Towers comes out on DVD August 26.
Can't wait for either of them.
Want the both on DVD RIGHT NOW.
But, that's not going to happen.
Anyway,
Bye Bye

ACK! I am such a geek! I knew both of those dates already!! *smacks herself*

Hmm...we totally need to think of a way to kill time until ROTK...I'll just be renting TT for awhile, cuz my Mom's refusing to buy the DVD of that until the extended version comes out probably in November...*sighs*

I am so going to the midnight showing for this one. It should be really good.

As for the DVD, I am trying to hold out for the super-duper extended trilogy set that will more than likely come out sometime after the ROTK (the operative word is trying...must hold out...must mot give in).

I can't believe the extended version doesn't come out until November! It's because they know that if they space them out so much the hard core fans will give in and buy both because they can't wait long enough! lol I have forbidden my bro to buy TTT but we're definitely going to rent it to get the sneak peak stuff into ROTK!

Imagine, after December, there will be no more LOTR releases in theaters! :(

that would be awesome, but a looong time to sit in a movie theater. although i do want to watch all three (extended editions) in a row someday when they are all out. home is more comfortable, but you just can't beat the big screen...

bad. I was playin the game on cube an kept seein clips of it. And I keep rememberin how totally auwsome it was. And there are no words to describe how bad I want to see ROTK. But, unfortunately I can't influence when they release them. And yes it really does suck that there won't be any more.

I agree with Tolkien being a genius. He put so much of his life into this world, and to create such detailed descriptions and even languages just proves that he was frickin' brilliant. I wish more people would read the books to really get a good appreciation of LOTR.

The indie theaters could have a whole day dedicated to LOTR!!! Oh, I would be way too tempted to dress in costume if that ever happened.

the guy is a genious (i think thats how ya spell it) he invented like ten other languages, endless back story, all for one series that will be with us forever we need more people like him nowadays ya know j.k. rowling is good, but she just takes a bunch of old myths and legends and jams them all into seven books that she might never finish don't get me wrong, i love harry potter but tolkien was so original we don't have very many new ideas in this day and age has anyone ever played dungeons and dragons? because he basically invented the thing all around a brilliant man
