OMG! I met Sara at Merlefest and she was about the nicest person ever. I was at the Chris Thile/Mike Marshall concert on the Plaza stage and I looked over and there she was, just sitting there like another average Merlefester. Well, after the concert was over I saw her talking to some people, and though I really didn't want to bother her, I asked her for a quick picture. She was SOOOO nice! I was like Do you think I could get a quick picture? and she was like Sure! and I asked the guy she was talking to her to take it and she was like That's my dad. I was about to start freaking out! Then, after her dad took the picture she was like I like your shirt! (I was wearing an NC t-shirt) and she was just SOOO nice! I mean, there I was, going up to her in her free time and being an annoying fan (I know, I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop myself) and she just acted like it was her pleasure to humor me for five minutes. I mean, I knew they were nice, but I didn't know they were THAT nice! I was so blown away by meeting her I actually cried! Then, I met Chris and I cried then too! But i was (thankfully, I was so embarassed to be one of those stupid girls who cries) able to contain myself when I met Sean. Thank God. I LOVE NICKEL CREEK!
