I don't have a vast collection but would like to get some more in if possible. Things have been a little quiet on the trading front for me for a while and there are a few shows I'd love to get hold of, here they are:

Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival Hillsdale NY USA (1998)
Merlefest Creekside Stage Wilkesboro NC USA (2000)
Janis Landing St. Petersburg FL USA (2003)

Club Largo Los Angeles CA USA (Sean and Sara with Geln Phillips) (2002)

I would also love to get hold of any Watkins Family Hour recordings, if there are some out there.

I will trade for other things than NC, but they are some shows I'd particualrly like to have. I'm open to things such as Chris Thile, Michelle Branch, Glen Phillips etc. If you have something you think I may like, send me a PM and we'll see if we can set something up.

Hi all!

I have gotten the shows that I listed in my original post about where to find my trading lists. Thanks to all those who helped me get what I wanted, and a few other shows besides, it's much appreciated and I promise to keep trading and spreading great music!

I am still missing the show Sean and Sara did with Glen Phillips at Largo though and would love to get hold if it if anyone has it please?

As I have most of the NC shows I want, I’m now on the look-out for the following:

05/13/03 and 07/10/99 - Both 2 Discs each
– 07/27/02 – 1 Disc

You can legally download all of the Largo shows here. (http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Watkins%20Family%20Hour%3A%202003) and then you can burn them yourself.

Of course, if you don't have a high speed connection, you'd probably spend the next 23 years trying to finish the download. (But who still uses dialup modems anyway?) And if you don't have a burner, you can't burn it (but you must have one if you're a trader).

BTW, the Watkins Family Hour last night w/Pete Sprague, Tripp Sprague, Bob Magnusson, Grant Lee Phillips and Cindy Wasserman guesting was AWESOME! OMG, just an exceptionally excellent show. I can't heap enough praise on the musicians and their virtuosity, all of them. The entire show including the opening set with Pete, Bob and Tripp, will be on archive.org as soon as I can manage it. SO glad I got a good recording b/c it was one you all should hear. Anyone else who was there would agree.

In answer to your question, I still use a dial up modem and I HATE it!!!!!!!! Stupid thing, it's fine for email and these boards but for videos and music it's rubbish!
