hey, everyone -
anyone ever meet sean, sara or chris after one of their shows? do they usually come out and talk with fans?

yes, they came out after the show we saw last month, and from what I've heard, are usually available. they were very gracious and enthusiastic about meeting everyone, signing everything (even bringing out their own pens!), answering questions, posing for pics, responding to praise with genuine thanks and humility.
of course Chris had a pretty big crowd...mostly young ladies :-)
we tried to say hi before the show, but we were asked to wait until after, so just remember to respect their space if and when they need it.

i went to chris thiles concert in bayfield, wi 2 weeks ago and the show was amazing, but after the concert was even more amazing! i hung around after the concert and like 10 minutes after the show ended, chris and the boys from his band came out. i thought it was kinda wierd, but everyone was crowding around gabe and noam and there was no one that went up to chris, so i walked over to him and said hi and he signed the deciever cd that i had brought, after he signed it, i asked him if i could get my pic taken with him and he said absolutely and put his arm around me! it was amazing.

This is a big part of what has made Nickel Creek famous. Obviously, their music is amazing. But their fan-friendliness has helped make people such hardcore fans. They almost always meet with people after the show, sometimes staying late into the night and even standing in the cold! Unfortunately, people take advantage of the opportunities, but the band is incredibly tolerable and patient.
