Nickel Creek will be at the SpringFest in Live Oak (only about 5 miles from me!) March 23. Bela Fleck and Doc Watson, too.

I've seen their videos, but this will be the first chance I've had to see them in person. Can't wait.

Any other members of this board planning to make this event?

Well its not like I've not ever been to FL. I lived there for most of my life-I'm from Gainesville originally. But I moved to Nashville 3 years ago. I miss the warmth and of course the delicious sun! Anyway maybe we can meet up at the fest if I end up going! Have a nice day! :)

:cool: Ive never posted here, but i'm coming to the live oak festival too. ive been hoping they would come to fl for a while. i saw part of the ryman show this past summer. :cool:

Hiya, new to the web board here :)

Anyone know if Nickel Creek is headed anywhere in the northeast, we almost never get any good country of any variety up here :(

another rhode islander!!! how awesome! the closest NC is coming to us so far is Mass. [wowOwow] its not that far from providence...about 45 minutes, but its worth it![nod]

Yup, its you and me, alone in the blustry new england wilds preaching the good word of blue grass...i would like to go to that concert, just have to find someone to go with me:)

I am planning on going, it will be my fourth time seeing them. It will be the first time I've been to this festival so I am looking forward to going. I have been to most of the other bluegrass festivals in florida but I am told this festival has a younger crowd so that will be a nice change if that is true.

Hey I'll be there at the Suwanne River Festival!!! I can't wait its awesome Bela Fleck's gonna be there too! Hope we'll get a chance to talk to NC after/before the show.
