Hey, you can now purchase Little Cowpoke from Amazon.com.

I have had trouble getting copies of their older CD's.

I'm still looking to get Here To There. If anyone has information about how I could get it, other than Downloads, please let me know by email at bugamile@aol.com.

Thanks!

I think I probably got one of the last ones in November of 2000. It was self-published by the band, and is unfortunately out of print.

Last I talked to Chris about it (a year ago), he said that they felt that it was so unrepresentative of who they are now and don't feel it's a good value for their fans -- I got the feeling that none of them were very happy with the performances on the disc, -- that they'd like to just let it fade into obscurity.

I told him that I thought it had several strong tracks on it, and that it was a perfectly decent recording... but I also agree that it's so different than their current material that they might not be comfortable having it in wide distribution.

The deal with Little Cowpoke is different... they don't own or control the rights to that recording, so they have no choice about the fact that the label is cashing in on their current success. Apparently it wasn't a terribly pleasant process making that recording, and I get the feeling that they're not thrilled about it, either, but cest la vie.

Cowpoke is an interesting record, but you'd barely know that it's the same band. Here to There on the other hand does showcase their talent and ability... but their current record (recorded probably 2+ years ago now!) is still light years better, and I'm guessing that the new one will blow the current one away!

I've heard everything you've said before!!! But come on, it's hard for you to admit that you have a copy and then say, But the band would just like it to go away.
I'm a crazily obsessive fan! I can't help it! I must have Here To There!!!
If you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem! LOL
Thanks anyway,
BUG

Hey Chip-
If I were to send a blank cd to you do you think that I might be able to get a copy of Here To There? I could pay for all of the postage if nessesary. Also (I think that I read this right) this way it wouldn't be going over the internet in any way like the band has asked it not to. If you could let me know I'd really appriciate it. Thanks! :D
