nc playing two shows in tacoma, wa?

so i was thinkin' about whether or not i can make the nc show on feb. 22nd, since the tix are sold out and the weekend passes for the music fest are pretty darn expensive... especially when i can only make one show. i was talkin' with a buddy of mine last night and he said that he heard they were going to be playing at a baptist church that day/weekend.. has anyone heard about this? because if it is true, i would more than likely be able to see them for the first time! :) thanks in advance if you know about any of this...

I don't know about Nickel Creek playing at a baptist church . . . but if anybody else does please let me know! I am also in the area and would absolutely love to see them . . . but $98 is a tad expensive. They are doing one of their actual performances for the Wintergrass festival in a church . . . I'm wondering if that's what you heard . . . :confused: . . . well I hope we find a way to see them!

Well, I am also going to be at Wintergrass. I live fairly near there and am volunteering to get free tickets, thats one opption (I know its too expensive otherwise!!) for you guys. Yes, they are playing at both the Church and the Convention Center at Wintergrass, unfourtunately, the church concert has sold out, so if you wanna see NC, you have to volunteer and see them in the convention center. So, I hope to see you guys there!!

How do you sign up to volunteer? I had found a volunteer web page and signed up through the internet to volunteer, but I haven't heard anything back from them. How long ago did you sign up? Do you know who I should contact to get involved?
